The Pastor

Dr. Riza Casidy is the founder and senior pastor of XCITE church. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Biblical Studies) degree from Harvest West Bible College, Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from Curtin University, Bachelor of Business (Honours), and Doctor of Philosophy (Marketing) from Monash University. At the age of 24, Dr. Casidy became one of the youngest PhD graduate in the history of Monash University with his dissertation entitled: "Church Marketing: the role of market orientation in church participation"

Over the past decade, Dr. Casidy has been actively involved in ministries in Indonesia and Australia. He has served as a youth pastor at churches in Perth and Melbourne and preached in a number of churches in Indonesia, including GBI Basilea and Gereja Duta Injil, with particular focus on the topic of 'living to the maximum potential'. Since the year 2008, Dr. Casidy is affiliated with the Assemblies of God (AOG) network in Australia. He has also published articles about 'Kingdom Potential' in religious and secular media in Indonesia and Australia.

Aside of his voluntary pastoral role, Dr. Casidy works full-time as a marketing lecturer at Swinburne University of Technology, Lilydale Campus. He also makes regular visits to Indonesia every year for ministry purposes.
