OUR HISTORY

In mid-2007, Pastor Riza Casidy along with other 8 young people got the vision of establishing a campus ministry to reach out the Indonesian student community in Melbourne, Australia. As the group became stronger in their conviction, they started to build a plan to start and grow a church at Monash University, Caulfield Campus. While the plan seems difficult and impossible at first, God keeps opening the way for the ministry and supports came from different sources which eventually enable the group to start the church in 2008.

In 2nd of March, 2008, XCITE church started its first ever worship service at Monash University. While the group has been meeting at houses for their cell meetings, there had never been a formal worship service held at the campus at that time. The church has since grown in numbers and quality as more and more people joined the church cell groups and ministry team.

Belong to the relationship with God and other believers
Grow in the character of Christ by serving others
Expand the Kingdom of God through evangelism
